Wedding Decorations

Wedding Design IdeasChoosing wedding decorations is a very important task. If you don't think so, just ask the bride's mother. It's the stuff fairy tales are made of. While a wedding coordinator will handle the most intricate of details, when it comes to wedding decorations, you want a professional that is hands on that you can speak to directly.

There are so many beautiful locations for a picture perfect wedding. When it comes to the perfect wedding decorations, some locations offer more challenges than others, so when picking a place, try to see it through the eye of the camera.

Like everything, there are two perspectives. A venue that has a high degree of existing decor and scenery will reduce your wedding decorating costs, however, it may not offer much in the way of customization. The *most* stereotypical form of this type of venue would be found in, say, Las Vegas. There you can find packages to accommodate all budgets, but it is still a package. The opposite extreme would be a venue where you need to do it all. The best example here might be a private seaside beach. Beautiful to be sure, but rather sparse in other serviceable amenities. Like, um, where do the guests go to the bathroom?!

While either of these two solutions might be perfect for certain people, is there an in between space? Something between plain vanilla, wide open options and a wedding purchased from a vending machine? Of course there are. Most venues strive to strike a balance between efficiently covering all the basics and allowing for a reasonable degree of creativity to personalize your experience.

First impressions are always important, so spend some time considering each aspect of your wedding decorations, starting with the entranceway. There are many different entrances ( ceremony and reception at least), so each one needs to be inviting. Then there is the aisle way, stage or altar, and perhaps a chuppah or arch or other central point of focus. Live foliage can do wonders for a plain space.

The reception wedding decorations may have a Tunnel Of Love entranceway tunnel, dance floor canopy, Cinderella Carriage cake table and a Sweet Heart table or Bridal Dais head table. Centerpieces, twinkling lights, and fabric draping and then more lively colors for the dance party afterwards.
